2. The petitioner applied to the first respondent seeking issuance of passport.

3. The petitioner is a holder of an Indian passport. It appears that a criminal case is pending against the petitioner. It is pending at the precognizance stage. There is no impediment for processing the petition mentioned application. The first respondent is directed to process the same and issue passport to the petitioner subject to fulfilment of the usual formalities.
