O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's daughter by name Selvakani, aged about 28 years, is found missing from 20.06.2021, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent police. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police has registered an F.I.R. in Crime No.169 of 2021, for woman missing and thereafter, no action has been taken by the respondent police to secure the detenu. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Ravi, learned Standing counsel appearing for the State, on instructions would submit that the petitioner's daughter viz., Selvakani has eloped with one Chelladurai and she was also appeared before the respondent police and gave a statement that she married the said Chelladurai.

3. Considering the above facts, we find that there is no illegal detention as alleged by the petitioner. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
