Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 4th respondent herein in Na.Ka.21977/2015/L2(28) dated 26.02.2019, quash the same and further direct the respondents herein to disburse forthwith a sum of Rs.1,91,768/- )(Rupees One Lakh Ninety One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Eight only) to the petitioner along with appropriate interest towards the medical expenses incurred towards treatment of petitioner husband for Laryngeal Carcinoma in Dr.Kamakshi Memorial Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the United India Insurance, Chennai, has deposited the medical expenses to the tune of Rs.1,68,532/- in the bank account of the petitioner, vide transaction UTR No.37770928721, dated 07.12.2020 and hence, the order of this Court dated 24.04.2019 has been complied with and he has also produced a copy of proceedings in Na.Ka.No.6640/2019/L2, dated 10.12.2020, before this Court.

3. Recording the same, this contempt petition is closed.
