ORDER

Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as P.G.Assistant on 02.11.1999 at Government Municipality Higher Secondary School, Kudiyatham, Vellur District. Thereafter, he was transferred to various places and subsequently, he was promoted as Head Master and posted in the Government Higher Secondary School, A.Muraiyur, Sivagangai District on 01.06.2017. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent, instead of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

considering his request to transfer him in anyone of the vacant post in Madurai District, had simply transferred him to Sivagangai District.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's wife is a differently abled person and she is working in Southern Railway at Madurai. Therefore, it is very difficult for him to maintain his family. In this regard, he has given a representation on 13.08.2018 to the second respondent herein, requesting the second respondent to transfer him to Madurai District and since the said representation did not evoke any response, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking for the above direction.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the second respondent is prepared to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass suitable orders on the same.

6. In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, the respondents, more particularly the 2nd respondent are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.08.2018 and to pass appropriate orders on the same sympathetically, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
