The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner, dated 13.07.2013 within the stipulated time.
2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Mr.A.Rahul, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the property in survey No.16/2A, 16/2B, to an extent of 0.05.0 Ares and 0.23.0 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Ares situated at Seenimadai Village, Milaganur Group, Manamadurai Taluk. During UDR Survey, the name of one Pandi S/o. Periyasamy was wrongly included. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 06.05.2011 to the Tahsildar, Manamadurai, to rectify the mistake.
4.The learned counsel would further submit that if there is any mistake happened during UDR survey, the mistake has to be rectified by the District Revenue Officer. Hence, the petitioner sent another representation to the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai, Sivagaingai District, the first respondent herein, on 30.07.2013. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition is filed.
5.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.07.2013 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
