O R D E R

I have heard Mr.H.Mohammed Farook, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to issue patta in the petitioner's name considering his representation dated 07.04.2025.

As rightly pointed out by Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader that even in the representation dated 07.04.2025, the petitioner has admitted that patta stands in name of private individuals and the petitioner seeks cancellation of the same before issuing patta in the name of the petitioner.

4. In the light of the stand of the writ petitioner himself, the petitioner has to necessarily approach the second respondent, the Revenue 2/5

Divisional Officer. In any event, I find that representation has been given to the Revenue Divisional Officer as well and therefore, it is not necessary for the petitioner to give a fresh representation. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent, instead of the third respondent as prayed for by the petitioner, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2025, after affording fair opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties and pass final orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
