2. In the second paragraph of the impugned order, it has been stated as follows:

"Hence, the services of all WDT members working in the projects of 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014 - 15 batches (List enclosed) should be disbanded on 31.08.2020."

3. All the petitioners in the batch of writ petitions before this Court are WDT Members. Aggrieved by the impugned order, the present writ petitions have been filed.

4. Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents filed a counter affidavit and from time to time, this Court has directed the respondents to file a report and they have also filed reports and this Court has perused all the reports filed by the respondents. In the counter affidavit, the respondents have stated that the work has been completed and therefore, they cannot keep the petitioners in the employment anymore. Therefore, the services of all WDT Members, as directed by the second respondent, should be disbanded with effect from 31.08.2020.

When this Court put a question to the learned Special Government Pleader, as to whether these petitioners can be considered, in case, if any similar projects or any other projects, which is to be implemented to carry out the Watershed Development Programme or any other similar type of projects, he submitted that in future, the respondents may consider the petitioners. But however, he has to get instructions from the respondents and file necessary affidavit and hence, he seeks time. 19/21

6. While granting time to the respondents to file affidavit, this Court would like to observe that some of the petitioners are working from 2003 and some of the petitioners are working from 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 to till date and they have also crossed the age of 45 and they are not in a position to get any other employment and the respondents have utilised the services of the petitioners for a period of more than ten years and no doubt, they have got good experience in dealing with these type of projects.

7. Therefore, this Court, prima facie, is of the view that there is no impediment for the respondents to consider all these writ petitioners herein to the similar projects if any, implemented in future.

8. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to file suitable affidavit on or before 29.10.2020.
