ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to transfer the patta based on the decree of the Civil Court in O.S.No.103 of 2006, dated 25.06.2015 after conducting survey and measuring the petitioner's property of an extent of 52 cents in S.No. 1205/1 and 1.64 acres in S.No.1206, Thamaraikulam Village Bit-I, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already made an application for the exercise to be carried out on 16.04.2025.

3. In view of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (i) The Firka Surveyor, Periyakulam (not Kodaikanal Taluk as arrayed in the writ petition) shall conduct a survey and forward his report to the first respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of 2/4

receipt of a copy of this order.

(ii) Based on the report of the Firka Surveyor, Periyakulam, the first respondent shall pass orders on the petitioner's application for transfer of patta, within a period of four weeks, thereafter. No costs. Index : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No 30.04.2025 am To
