ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.56 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 336 and 506(ii) IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that already the petitioner has filed a petition before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai, seeking anticipatory bail and the same is also allowed. However, the petitioner filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with cost of Rs.2,000/-, which has to be paid to the credit of Kalaingar Centenary Library (Current Account No.7567821433, IFSC Code: IDIB1000H040) Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai. The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai, shall permit the petitioner to furnish the sureties as in 2/3
