Respondents PRAYER : This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent Joint Director of school Education to consider the petitioner's Appeal to him dated 18.03.2020 preferred under Rule 15(4-A) of the TN Private Schools Regulation Rules, 1974 and pass orders thereon, within a period as may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed to issue appropriate direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 18.03.2020.

3.Mr.K.Ragatheesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the appeal was filed against the illegal promotion granted to the juniors. If the said appeal is directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time, the ends of justice could be secured.

4.Mr.N.Shanmugaselvan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 fairly submits that the petitioner preferred an appeal against the illegal promotion granted to the juniors and the same will be disposed of within a period of four weeks.

5.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this court directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 18.03.2020 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
