O R D E R
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to cancel the examination held on 12.01.2020 and 13.01.2020 pursuant to the notification issued by the 2nd respondent vide notification No.2/2019 dated 08.03.2019 for direct recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspect of Police (Taluk, Armed Reserve (Men and Women/Transgender) and Tamil Nadu Special Police (Men)) - 2019 and proceed with the recruitment afresh.
2. The relief of cancellation of written examination held pursuant to the recruitment notification on 12.01.2020 and 13.01.2020 cannot be granted on account of efflux of time. Examinations were already conducted. Thus, the relief become infructuous.
3. The learned Additional Advocate General made a submission that pursuant to the order of this Court, an Expert Committee was appointed to verify the correctness or otherwise of the procedures followed and the Expert Committee also submitted a report and thereafter, the process of selection was conducted and concluded.
4. This being the factum, the relief as such sought for deserves no further consideration. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
