It is pertinent to mention that the prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 not to grant permission to the fifth respondent to conduct the festival from 07.07.2017 to 09.07.2017. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted no permission was granted to anyone to conduct the festival from 07.07.2017 to 09.07.2017.

3.Since the period is over, this Court need not entertain this Writ Petition at this stage, as the prayer has become infructuous. The Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.(MD)No.9736 of 2017 is closed.
