PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to change necessary corrections pertaining to the property situated at Sivaganga District, Karaikkudi Registration District, Karaikkudi Joint No.2, Subregistrar office Sub-District, Karaikkudi Municipality Town, Kurichipuravu, Survey Ward No.3, Survey Block No.14, T.S.No.429, Plot No.65 and 66 on the basis of proceedings made in R.T.R.No.06/F283/2002, dated 07.03.2002 on the file of the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Sakkottai within a stipulated period. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Sundar.

This Writ petition is filed for direction to the respondent to change necessary corrections pertaining to the property situated at Sivaganga District, Karaikkudi Registration District, Karaikkudi Joint No.2, Sub-registrar office sub District, Karaikkudi Municipality Town, Kurichipuravu, Survey Ward No.3, Survey Block No.14, T.S.No.429, Plot No.65 and 66 on the basis of proceedings made in R.T.R.No.06/F283/2002, dated 07.03.2002 on the file of the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Sakkottai. 2.Heard Mr.R.Sundar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Mahendran, learned counsel appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that despite representation given by the petitioner, dated 03.4.2017, no order was passed by the respondent so far. Hence the present Writ petition has been filed.
4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner further submitted that, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner. 5.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that in view of the order passed in the year 2003, the respondent is not in position to pass orders. 6.However, considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.04.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, after providing opportunity to necessary parties within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above directions, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
