ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to grant necessary Police protection to the petitioner and her family members, on the basis of her representation dated 12.05.2023.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner made a representation on 12.05.2023 to the respondents seeking police protection and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that till date, no representation has been received by the respondent police and if any fresh representation is given, it would be considered on merits. 2/4

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the official respondents and on receipt of such representation, the official respondents are directed to consider the representation to be made by the petitioner and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
