Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents.

2.The petitioner is the daughter of the third respondent. The petitioner fell in love with one Manikandan who is from another community and got married to him. This had caused rift the relationship between the petitioner and her parents. The petitioner apprehended threat from her parents. Therefore, she lodged a complaint before All Women Police Station, Aruppukkottai. An enquiry was conducted and an undertaking was obtained from the third respondent that third respondent will not interfere in the life of the petitioner. Recording the said undertaking, the enquiry has been closed. I make it clear that if the third respondent goes back on the undertaking and causes trouble to the petitioner or her husband, the first and second respondents will take prompt action in the matter.
