PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.4 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against this petitioner in Crime No.4 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 8(c), 22(c), 25, 29(1) of NDPS Act and remanded him into judicial custody on 29.02.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were found in illegal possession of the following contraband:- 1.Amphetamine - 250 gram 2.Pseduo Ephedrine - 150 gram 3.White lump like Glucose - 300 gram 4.White stick whith crystal shape - 850 gram 5.White Powder with a slight brownish tint - 4.750 kgs. 6.White Powder with a glaze - 8 kgs 7.White Urea-like powder - 10.500kg 8.Brown color powder - 0.900 gram 9.Pink color Tablet - 72 (Nos) 10.Five Liter Plastic can containing acetone liquit - One No. 11.Sodium Hydrozide Pellets Extra pure can - 2.300 kgs 12.Brown color glass bottle - 1 No.

3.When this matter was listed on 26.06.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to list this matter today, ie., 28.06.2024 under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, a 2/4

representation was made by a representing counsel that the learned counsel on record is not present and requested for adjournment. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent raised serious objection that the quantity involved in this case is commercial quantity. Further, he raised specific objection by stating that A1 was arrested with contraband and the petitioner herein was closely associated with other accused and actively involved in drug trafficking. Call details report proves the petitioner's nexus with other accused in this case. He further submits that the investigation is in crucial stage and if the petitioner is released on bail, it will affect the investigation. 5.

Considering the fact that there are sufficient materials collected by the investigating agency as against the petitioner and the specific objection raised by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
