ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandaumus, to quash the refusal check slip dated 15.04.2025 issued by the 2nd respondent and to direct the 2nd respondent to register the sale deed dated 15.04.2025 as and when the same is presented by the petitioner. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that since the land is coming within the purview of the Sathankulam Sub Registrar Office. The present Sub Registrar, Udangudi, is refusing to register the same. Further, the Sub Registrar, Udangudi, directed the petitioner to submit the original Will and also the encumbrance certificate regarding the said land.

3.Therefore, this Court is of the considered opinion that when the Sub Registrar, Udangudi, is not having jurisdiction to register, they are right in refusing to register the same. The petitioner is directed to submit the sale deed to the Sathankulam Sub Registrar Office along with Will and encumbrance certificate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Sathankulam Sub Registrar Office will consider the same in accordance to law.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
