O R D E R
The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents No.1 to 5 to take action against the respondents No.6 to 12 for their illegal act of Ex-Communicating the petitioner and his family members from the village by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 23.05.2017.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the respondent police has enquired and found that the petitioner is not Ex-communicated from the village. It is the version of others that the petitioner did not pay the special subscription in connection with the Kodai Festival conducted in the temple. Since the Trustee of the temple in question, refused to accept the subscription amount from the petitioner, the petitioner seems to have expressed some grievance. Subsequently, the temple administration has agreed to collect the subscription from the petitioner and the petitioner also agreed that the subscription will be paid before "Purattasi" of this year. In view of the fact that the parties have settled their disputes, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that no further action is required and the respondent police would monitor.
4. The statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Hence this Court is of the view that no further action is required in this petition and this Writ Petition is closed accordingly. No costs.
