PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider and dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner dated 17.04.2017 in file Rc.No.L1/8947/2017 against the order of second respondent in Na.Ka C.2/3236/2017 dated 04.04.2017 in accordance with law. This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 17.04.2017, in File Rc.No.L1/8947/2017 against the order of second respondent in Na.Ka C.2/3236/2017 dated 04.04.2017. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Mr.P.Mahendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that aggrieved over the order passed by the second respondent, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 17.04.2017. petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
