Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.JEGADEESH PANDIAN.M, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.R.SIVAKUMAR, Government Advocate(crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioner before the Special District Court for POCSO Act Cases, Madurai, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.7313 of 2023 dated 20.04.2023.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not surrender before the concerned https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.7467 of 2023 Court and produce the sureties within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and time is extended by three weeks finally from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
