For Respondent : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :-For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.209/2022 on the file of the respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 229A of I.P.C., in Crime No.209 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was granted regular bail in Crime No.227 of 2021, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 302, 506(ii), 120(B), 149, 114, 109, 212 and 34 IPC. When the committal proceeding was taken in PRC.No.109 of 2021, he remained absent. So, the case was split up against the co-accused and proceeded. Based upon the aforesaid violation of the bail condition, now the present FIR has been registered against the petitioner.
3.Seeking anticipatory bail, this petition has been filed on the ground that the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.8920 of 2022. However, considering the fact that the bail condition was already violated by this https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
