(MD)No.8683 of 2021 dated 02.07.2021 for surrender and excution of sureties.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.MATHIYALAGAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.MUTHUMANIKKAM, Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8683 of 2021 dated 02.07.2021.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's name is Kantharani, but, the same was inadvertently typed as Kanthamani in the petition. In view of the aforesaid mistake in the petitioner's name, she could not surrender and execute the sureties before the concerned Magistrate in time. They have also filed an amendment petition in Crl.MP(MD)No.5893 of 2021 to rectify the said mistake.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and the time is extended by ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, for the petitioner to comply with the order dated 02.07.2021 made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.8683 of 2021.
