2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.T.R.Janarthanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3.The petitioner filed an appeal on 22.11.2016 before the State Level Scrutiny Committe, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, Namakkal Kavignar Maligai, Third Floor, Secretariat, Chennai-600 009, challenging the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer. As seen from the letter of the Principal Secretary to Government, Adi Dravidar and Tribunal Welfare (CV3) Department, Secretariat, Chennai-9, dated 09.01.2017 the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appeal is still pending for adjudication. Now, the petitioner wants to expedite the same.

4.In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 22.11.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
