O R D E R

The writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to incorporate the petitioner's father name as V.Gopalsamy in the School and College Certificates and Marksheets issued by the respondents, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.11.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The case of the petitioner is that he studied at Government Middle School, Kottur, Theni District. Thereafter, he perused his Higher Studies at Kottur in the year 2003 to 2007. Thereafter, he finished his graduation in English Literature in the year 2007 to 2010.

4.The grievance of the petitioner is that his father's name is V.Gopalsamy, but in the certificates, it was wrongly mentioned as V.Gopal. Despite the representation by the petitioner, the name was not changed.

5.Mr.V.Manikandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Headmaster of Middle School had incorporated his father's name and also issued a certificate mentioning his father's name as V.Gopalsamy. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 09.11.2015 to incorporate his father's name as V.Gopalsamy instead of V.Gopal. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed.

6.In the light of the above facts, the petitioner is directed to give one more representation to the respondents enclosing all necessary documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such compliance, the respondents shall consider the said representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
