Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of passport.

3. It is seen that C.C.No.24 of 2022 is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi for the offences under Section 506(2) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

4. Therefore, the petitioner has to necessarily move the trial Magistrate for relief. The petitioner undertakes to move the court below within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner files such a petition, the learned Magistrate will dispose it of within a period of two weeks thereafter.

5. With this liberty to the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
