PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 444 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ A1, who was arrested and remanded judicial custody on 21.12.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 394 of IPC, 27(2) of Arms Act r/w.8(c) of NDPS Act in Crime No.444 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 21.12.2022 at about 8.30 a.m., when the defacto complainant was riding her two wheeler bearing Reg. No.TN 67 BE 6301 to her school, near Sneha hospital, the petitioner herein came in a two wheeler and snatched 1 1⁄2 sovereigns of gold chain from her neck, hence the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 21.12.2022, hence he seeks bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.9102 of 2023 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first petitioner is having 17 previous cases and the second petitioner is having 21 previous cases, hence he objected to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Taking into consideration the gravity of offence and also taking note of the previous bad antecedants of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
