[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking a direction to the respondents to secure her son, namely, Ajithkumar, aged about 27 years, produce him before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.RMS.Sethuraman, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice

for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the detenu is a habitual offender and there are several cases pending against him. He would further submit that the detenu has been arrested in Crime No.285 of 2024, on the file of Keeraithurai Police Station, and he is in judicial custody and the arrest intimation has also been sent to his wife. To that effect, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has also produced a copy of the first information report and arrest intimation before this Court.
