ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 342, 506 (i), 376 and 511 of IPC @ 294(b), 342, 506(i) and 354(A)(i)of IPC in Crime No.

322 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 13.08.2018 at about 05.00 p.m when the defacto complainant was taking bath in a common channel, A1 Murgan has attempted to pull the defacto complainant by hand and made advances and restrained the defacto complainant from moving away from the place. A1 was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.08.2018. The petitioners herein are mother, father and brother of A1. The allegation against them is that they abused and attempted to attack the defacto complainant when the defacto complainant complained about the incident.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the family members of A1 have been unnecessarily roped in this case and they have nothing to do with the alleged offence. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that A1 is arrested and remanded to judicial custody

5.Taking note of the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
