Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to R4 is dispensed with.

3. It is seen that patta was issued in favour of the fourth respondent. According to the petitioner, such issuance was bad in law. Hence, the petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent.

4. The second respondent is directed to pass final order on the petitioner's appeal for cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the 2/4

fourth respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The second respondent has to necessarily put the fourth respondent on notice before passing the final order. It is open to the second respondent to pass order one way or other.
