By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner is serving as Headmistress in the Panchayat Union Middle School, Pappudiyanpatti, Kunnandar Koil Union, Pudukkottai District. The claim of the petitioner is that when one Krishnaveni has joined as a Secondary Grade Teacher on 20.01.1990 and promoted as Headmistress on 02.07.2001, she was given increment for completing B.Ed., and M.A., degree on 25.12.2012 and also she was working as Headmistress in the Panchayat Union Middle School. The petitioner being senior to the said Krishnaveni, noticing higher fixation of salary to her junior, the petitioner has given a representation dated 21.12.2016 to the respondents narrating the entire discrimination of scale of pay given to her junior. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Mr.Raja Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent and sought time to consider the petitioner's representation.

4.In view of the above, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.12.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
