ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.221 of 2023 pending on the file of the 1/4

first respondent police. This petition is moved on the grounds of compromise arrived at between the parties.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that in this case, investigation has been concluded, the final report is made ready and the same is yet to be filed. 3.Since the case has been registered for the offence under Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003 and these are all offences against the society, this Court is not inclined to entertain this application.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to raise all the grounds before the trial Court. The trial Court shall dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible. 19.06.2024 NCC :
