Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to Kabadi Tournament and to perform cultural programme like archestra and dance and finally bursting of crackers in the "Thai Pongal Festival" at Arulmighu Ramalingasamy Udanurai Sivagamiambal Srinambi Singaperumal Temple in Panakudi, Tirunelveli Distrit dated 01.02.2017 based on the Petitioner's Application dated 10.01.2017 and 20.01.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament on 01.02.2017 in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 10.01.2017 and 20.01.2017, two representations have been given to the authorities concerned, but the same have not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. 4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the fourth respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Panakudi Police Station is directed to look into the representations dated 10.01.2017 and 20.01.2017 and dispose of the same as early as possible.
