This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation of FIR in Crime No.27 of 2016, dated 11.02.2016 and to file a final report within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.27 of 2019 and after completing investigation, the same was closed as 'Mistake of Fact'. Thereafter, the respondent also filed referred charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Ramnad on 03.07.2017.
