O R D E R

By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has came to this Court seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the pending appeal dated 30.01.2017.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was dismissed from service by the order of the third respondent/the District Manager(TASMAC), Pudukkottai District, dated 11.11.2014. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the 2nd respondent on 20.03.2015, against the dismissal order. The said appeal was rejected by the 2nd respondent on 27.07.2015. Therefore, he preferred further appeal before the first respondent/the Managing Director(TASMAC), https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Chennai, on 30.01.2017. As the petitioner is suffering without employment and is having a fair chance, the appeal on the file of the first respondent may be directed to be disposed of, the learned counsel pleaded.

4. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents sought reasonable time for the respondents to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date receipt of copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
