PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings issued by the 3rd respondent vide O.Mu.No. 4038/2024/A3 dated 10.1.2025 and quash the same illegal and non est in law and consequently directing the Respondents to issue Thoraya patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of her plot No. 14 comprised in S.No. 15/2 Seegupatti village Manjampatti Village Panchayat Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, within the time stipulated by this Honble Court For Petitioner : Mr.P.Mahendran For Respondents : Mr.M.Lingadurai Special Government Pleader

ORDER

The petitioner challenges the order of the third respondent, rejecting the request of the petitioner, for issuance of thoraya patta to the petitioner in respect of plot No.14, comprised in survey No.15/2, Seegupatti village Manjampatti Village Panchayat Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, 2/5

2. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, on instructions, would fairly submit that the respondents are in the process of issuing thoraya patta to the petitioner and therefore, seeks suitable directions to be issued and the request of the petitioner to be disposed of. Mr.Muthumani, Junior Assistant, attached to the third respondent office is present before this Court.

3. In the light of the submissions of the Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of and the impugned order passed by the third respondent is set aside. Since the application is under process, the third respondent is directed to issue patta within 48 hours from now.
