ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 506(ii) and 406 I.P.C, in Crime No.552 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners cheated the de-facto complainant to the tune of Rs.22,90,000/-(Rupees twenty two lakhs and ninety thousand only) by settling the balance sale consideration amount of the Lorry bearing Reg.No.TN-56-D-3585 and TN-69-AD-6006. Therefore, the de-facto complainant lodged a complaint against the petitioner before the respondent police.

4. The learned counsel for the intervenor would submit that after hand over the lorry, they did not repay the said amount and he

also forged R.C. Book.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is pending.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
