Respondents (R4 impleaded vide order dated 14.09.2017) PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to amend the date of birth of the petitioner's son in the transfer certificate as mentioned in the birth certificate given by the Corporation of Madurai, based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2017. This petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents for making necessary correction in the date of birth as 26.04.1995 instead of 26.04.1994 in the transfer certificate of the petitioner's son S.Prakash, issued by the third respondent

dated 21.06.2012.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. It is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the 3rd respondent herein, while issuing the transfer certificate of his son, has wrongly mentioned the date of birth as 26.04.1994 instead of 26.04.1995. Learned counsel for the petitioner drew the attention of this Court to the Birth Certificate issued by the Madurai Corporation, annexed in the typeset of papers, to substantiate his contention, wherein the date of birth of the petitioner's son has been shown as 26.04.1995.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has, on instructions, submitted that the respondents have no objection in considering the petitioner's request on the basis of the material documents produced by him.

5. Considering the above said submission, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the concerned respondents to make necessary correction in respect of the date of birth of the petitioner's son in the transfer certificate and issue a fresh transfer certificate to the petitioner, within a period three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
