For Respondent : Mr.R.Erottuchamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.1317 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A1, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 21(1) of Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation), Act, Section 3(1) Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act and Sections 430 and 379 IPC, in Crime No.1317 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused said to have illegally stolen twenty five units of sand from Periya Kanmoi in Periya Kottai Village. Hence, a case has been registered.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police.

CRL OP(MD).No.10970 of 2020 4.In view of the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.13334 of 2020 etc., batch, dated 03.09.2020 by the Principal Bench of this Court at Madras, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
