2.Heard Mr.M.Veilkaniraju, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner has sought for community certificate on the ground that by mistake his religion has been noted as Christian, though he is only a Scheduled Caste person. Therefore, he wants to change of community for his children on the ground that he is practicing Hinduism. Since the said application is pending consideration, the petitioner has come to this Court for seeking the above said relief.
4.Taking into consideration the above said fact, the petitioner is directed to send another representation to the respondents, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of same, the respondent concerned is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, thereafter.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
