ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 307, 379 I.P.C, in Crime No.114 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 21.06.2022 the defacto complainant, who is the Head Constable attached to the respondent Police received a secret information of illegal sand mining. At about 11PM, he went along with the Police team and intercepted the lorry involved in sand mining in Thamirabarani River. The driver of the lorry without stopping the vehicle fled away with sand. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.11488 of 2022 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is having 22 previous cases, out of which, some cases are pending, some were disposed of.

5.Considering the conduct and bad antecedents of the petitioner and nature of offence committed by the petitioner, he is not entitled for any discretionary relief from this Court. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed.
