ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned Refusal Check Slip issued by the respondent in Refusal Number: RFL/Karivalamvanthanallur/54/2025 dated 1/4

09.04.2025 and consequently, to direct the respondent to register any document presented by the petitioner with regard to the joint Patta No.1172, Survey No. 38/1A1 totally measuring 61.20 cents situated in Vaadikottai Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.The contention of the petitioner is that a larger extent of the property is settled in the name of the daughter. The extent is shown as more than 60 cents in the properties. Even in the rejection slip, the respondent has stated that the classification of land is agricultural land and it is also mentioned that the extent of the property is more than 60 cents. 3.Therefore, the rejection slip is total non application of mind. Therefore, the impugned rejection slip is quashed and the respondent is directed to register the settlement deed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
