O R D E R

The prayer in this writ petition is for the isssuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the house site of the petitioner in S.F.No.46/1 consisting 1566 sq.feet, 1726.65125 sq.feet and 1483.83875 sq.feet, situated at Thuvariman Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai.

2. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he purchased the land in S.F.No.46/1 situated at Thuvariman Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai through a registered sale deed, dated 14.11.2015. He was also issued a patta. Subsequently, the petitioner approached the respondent on 24.02.2017 to survey the land and also paid necessary https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

charges. After waiting five months, the petitioner sent a representation on 17.04.2017. Since no action has been taken, the present Writ petition has been filed.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.04.2017 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
