The prayer sought for in this writ petition is seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to initiate Patta transfer proceedings to include the name of the petitioner in the Joint Patta for survey No.380/1 by considering the application of the petitioner dated 02.06.2017. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes for the respondent. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admissions stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he became absolute owner of the property to an extent of 65 cents in S.No.380/1 situated at Balakrishnapuram village in Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, by virtue of a registered settlement deed dated 21.06.2016. Since then, he is in possession and enjoyment of the same.
After execution of settlement deed, the petitioner made an online application on 02.06.2017 for transfer of patta. Since it was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 02.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity of hearing to all necessary parties, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
