ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the the learned Principal Sub Judge, Tirunelveli to dispose of the case in S.C.No. 57 of 2018, on the file of the Principal Sub Court Tirunelveli. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to previous enmity, the accused persons assaulted the petitioner and caused grievous injury. Hence, one Vaikundam lodged a complaint. For the same, an FIR had been registered in Crime No.78 of 2016. After investigation, the respondent police filed final report before the Principal Sub Court, Tirunelveli and the same was taken on file in S.C.No.57 of 2018, for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 342, 294(b), 324, 307, 506(2) and 326 of IPC. Then, the said Vaikundam was murdered by the accused persons. Now, the petitioner's life is also under threat. Hence, he pleaded for speedy disposal of the said case.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) sought two months time to dispose of the case in S.C.No.57 of 2018, on the file of the Principal Sub Court Tirunelveli.

5.In view of the above, the learned Principal Sub Judge, Tirunelveli, is directed to complete the trial in S.C.No.57 of 2018 and dispose of the same, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
