ORDER

The present petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.166 of 2019 dated 27.05.2019 pending on his file and to file the final report within the stipulated time.

2.Record of proceedings shows that when the case was taken up for hearing on 08.10.2020, this Court has issued the following direction:- ''3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that final report was filed as early as on 20.06.2019 before the Judicial Magistrate, Arupukkottai. When I asked for C.C.No., the response is that final report is yet to be taken on file.

4.Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of by directing the Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukkottai, to take a call in the matter. The compliance report shall be submitted before the Registry within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.''

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10979 of 2020 3.The learned Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukkottai, has sent the compliance report vide letter in D.No.782/2020 dated 23.10.2020, wherein, he has stated that final report pertaining Cr.No.166/2019 on the file of Thiruchuli Police Station, was received by the Magistrate Court on 20.10.2020 after obtaining approval from the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on 09.10.2020 and after perusing the final report, the same was taken on file and numbered as C.C.No.123/2020 on 22.10.2020. Thus the earlier order dated 08.10.2020 passed by this Court is complied with. 4.In view of the compliance report, no further order is required to be passed in this case. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
