PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from unauthorized draining of rain water/sewage water into the lands of the Ayya Vaikundar Temple, Krishna Nagar, Muthiahpuram, Thoothukudi District, situate within the 9 Cents of lands, comprised in Survey No.93/3C, Mullakadu Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District, thereby, considering the representation of the petitioner dated 18.03.2026, and consequentially direct the respondents to ensure no stagnantation of sewage water, in Krishna Nagar in future, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 from unauthorized draining of rain water/sewage water into the lands of the Ayya Vaikundar Temple, Krishna 2/6
Nagar, Muthiahpuram, Thoothukudi District, situate within the 9 Cents of lands, comprised in Survey No.93/3C, Mullakadu Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District, thereby, considering the representation of the petitioner dated 18.03.2026, and consequentially direct the respondents to ensure no stagnation of sewage water, in Krishna Nagar in future. 2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.N.Anandhakumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents 2 & 3. 4.The petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents on 18.03.2026 and filed this writ petition for a mandamus to consider his representation.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be disposed of, within a time frame.

In such view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner dated 18.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
