Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned advertisement of the 3rd respondent made in Naa.Kaa.No.L/1914/2020 dated 01.09.2020 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct him to execute the cutting process of Seemaikaruvelam and Velikaruvelam in so far as the Virayaithakandan Panchayat Union, based on the resolution of Virayaithakandan Panchayat.

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned advertisement of the 3rd respondent, dated 01.09.2020 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.14063 of 2020 quash the same and for a consequential direction to execute the cutting process of Seemaikaruvelam and Velikaruvelam in so far as the Virayaithakandan Panchayat Union, based on the resolution of Virayaithakandan Panchayat.

2. Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Angusamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also sent an e-mail to that effect to the email address mentioned in the cause list.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and in view of the email sent, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
