[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Today, Mr.A.Gopalakrishnan, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Austinpatti Police Station, Madurai District, is present.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his wife Sudharani, aged about 22 years, is in the illegal custody of the third respondent and hence, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Sudharani had developed illegal intimacy with the third respondent and eloped with him. He also submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Thirumangalam Town Police Station Crime No.559 of 2018 for woman missing has been registered and investigation is in progress. He further submitted that on the complaint given by Malarkodi (mother of the third respondent - Prakash), a case in Thirumangalam Taluk Police Station Crime No.298 of 2018 has been registered for man missing and investigation is in progress.
4. In view of the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam Sub-Division, to monitor the investigation in Thirumangalam Town Police Station Crime No.559 of 2018 and Thirumangalam Taluk Police Station Crime No.298 of 2018 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any, from time to time.
