PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018 and 12.09.2020 for compassionate appointment pending before the respondents within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide a job on compassionate ground by considering the petitioner's representations dated 20.08.2018 and 12.09.2020. 1/3

2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that with the relief sought for in the prayer though he has made representations dated 20.08.2018 and 12.09.2020 before the respondents, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra.

4.Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said representations dated 20.08.2018 and 12.09.2020 will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the respondents are directed to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 20.08.2018 and 12.09.2020 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, without making any further delay in its decision making process.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
