O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to grant Police protection and to take necessary action based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The first petitioner married the second petitioner. Admittedly, both of them are majors. The fourth respondent is the father of the second petitioner and the third respondent is the father of the first petitioner. The complaint has been given by the third respondent before the second respondent Police and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

second respondent Police called the petitioners for enquiry. The petitioners apprehend danger to their life and seek liberty at the hands of the third and fourth respondents.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioners attended the enquiry before the second respondent Police and submitted their version. He further submitted that the petition is pending in C.S.R.No.271 of 2018. The second respondent shall ensure that sufficient protection is given to the petitioners as and when they attend for enquiry.

5.The second respondent is directed to take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, on completion of the enquiry.

6.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
